Why should we select your outplacement firm?
We specialize in providing affordable individual outplacement services at a price point below many group seminar outplacement options. If you would like to offer personalized, one-on-one career transition services to your displaced employees instead of a group seminar, but have budget constraints to consider, you should consider our outplacement programs.
Can you tell me a little more about your outplacement company?
Quest Outplacement is a division of Quest Career Services, LLC., a privately held provider of outplacement services. Since 1999, Quest Career Services has helped job seekers throughout the world successfully manage career transitions. Quest Career Services is a member of the Better Business Bureau and is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
How much do your outplacement services cost?
The cost of our outplacement services programs ranges from $995 to $2,495 per individual and range in duration from 3 months to 6 months. There is no minimum number of impacted employees required (can be as few as one). Your organization will only be charged for impacted individuals that elect to utilize outplacement. If an individual declines, there is no charge to your organization for that individual. You aren’t contractually bound to an exclusive arrangement with us for any period of time.

Do you work with displaced employees throughout the U.S.?
Yes, we work with displaced employees located throughout the U.S. using a virtual model. We work with job seekers via telephone consultant and e-mail, which reduces our overhead costs and our outplacement fees. We are able to provide outplacement services featuring one-on-one time with a Career Transition Consultant at a price below many group seminar outplacement programs using this approach.
What types of displaced employees do you work with?
We work with all types of displaced employees, including executive-level employees, Directors of Operations, Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, Marketing Directors, Marketing Managers, Plant Managers, Project Managers, IT Directors, Software Engineers, Network Administrators, Consultants, Construction Project Managers, Auditors, Accounting Specialists, production personnel and administrative support staff.
Do you provide access to office space and computers as part of your outplacement programs?
No. We have found that most job seekers have a personal computer in their home and would prefer to conduct their job search from their home. For those without personal computers, their local public library has computers with Internet access available for their use. By not having the overhead costs associated with providing access to office space and personal computers, we are able to provide one-on-one time with a Career Transition Consultant in all our outplacement programs while maintaining affordable pricing. We feel job seekers place greater value on receiving one-on-one job search support than on having access to office space and computers.

How do I place an outplacement order?
What methods of payment do you accept?
What are we charged if a displaced employee elects not to utilize your outplacement services?
What are your payment terms?
If you placed your order using a corporate credit card, we would e-mail the point of contact you identified to let them know a displaced employee has elected to utilize our outplacement services. We would then charge your company for this employee using the corporate credit card information you provided.
If you prefer to pay by company check, we would e-mail the point of contact you have identified to let them know a displaced employee has elected to utilize our outplacement services. Your company would then be invoiced for that employee. This invoice would be due upon receipt.
How do we let employees know about what outplacement services are available to them and how to proceed?
We can e-mail you master copies of employee Notification Letters that summarize the outplacement services displaced employees are entitled to receive as well as how to they should proceed. You can personalize these letters with the displaced employee’s name.
You can review these Notification Letters with the displaced employee while meeting with them. You can also include the Notification Letter in the Separation Agreement you provide them.
We mail displaced employees a follow-up letter after they have been displaced. We then contact them by phone if their desire to receive outplacement services is unknown.
What information do you need from us to proceed?
- A signed Outplacement Services Agreement.
- Your company’s billing address.
- Contact information for the individual that invoices should be forwarded to if you elect to pay by invoice.
- Bank and credit references, if requested, for new customers placing large orders
- A list of displaced employees that includes:
- The outplacement program you have selected for each
- Their contact information (mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address)
- The date each displaced employee can be contacted by us
